Sharing SEEDS’ Impact Overseas
In November, Dr. Shubhra Dwivedy, Chief Functionary of SEEDS, visited Austria at the invitation of Kfb Austria, the country’s largest women’s organisation with over 90,000 members. Kfb Austria has been a long-standing partner of SEEDS in Jharkhand.
During her three-week visit, Dr. Dwivedy travelled across six cities, engaging with diverse audiences through talks, workshops, and seminars on gender equality, peace, and justice.
She was a speaker at the Closing Plenary of the Austrian Development Conference on UN Sustainable Development Goal 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), where she shared regional perspectives from India, Jharkhand, and SEEDS’ project areas, with a focus on peace and conflict management. She also conducted a workshop on Indigenous women’s struggle for visibility in the peace and justice journey.
